Chantal Doerig

Manager of Occupational Therapy

Chantal is a Registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and is a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT) and the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators (CSME). She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie University. She is also a Certified Brainfx Administrator and a Catastrophic Impairment Evaluator (C-CAT). 

In her practice, Chantal has over eighteen years’ experience working as an Occupational Therapist, providing rehabilitation services with children, youth, adults, and older adults in various settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, schools, industrial worksites, and in the community. She has worked in the auto insurance sector since 2006, providing home and community-based occupational therapy. Chantal is skilled in the rehabilitation of children, youth, adults, and older adults with various impairments, including extensive training in the areas of traumatic brain injury and concussions, as well as experience with orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries, mental health, geriatric medicine, chronic pain, forensics, dementia, and neurological conditions. She is knowledgeable in conducting comprehensive In-Home Assessments, Assessment of Attendant Care Needs, Functional Abilities Evaluations, Hospital Discharge Assessments, Hand Therapy Assessments, Functional Cognitive Assessments, Ergonomic/Work-Site Assessments, and Cognitive and Physical Demands Analyses. Chantal has a passion for helping others and has even volunteered as an occupational therapist with a rehabilitation team in Haiti. She is also fluent in English and French.
