SAMANTHA FORDE

Occupational Therapist

Samantha obtained a Master’s of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Psychology from Queen’s University. She is a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapist’s of Ontario. Samantha is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and has worked across various settings in both Canada and the United States. She has extensive experience providing Occupational Therapy services to individuals with mild to severe neurological, orthopedic, and psychological impairments. Samantha has gained valuable experience providing in-home/community-based assessment and intervention within the medical legal sector and has testified at legal proceedings. Samantha holds a certification in Parkinson’s Wellness and Recovery and regularly participates in professional development to advance her clinical skills. This includes, but is not limited to, Visual Rehab after Neuro Conditions, Pilates for Rehabilitation (Level 1,2, & 3), Physical Agent Modalities, Neurodevelopmental Treatment, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, Joan Toglia - Cognitive Perceptual Deficits, and CBT/mindfulness-based approaches. She regularly attends annual brain injury conferences and has completed courses through the Ontario Brain Injury Association.
