JENNA COPELAND

Occupational Therapist

Jenna Copeland is an Occupational Therapist who is a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT). Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph and a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Queen’s University. Jenna has over seven years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the medical legal sector. She has experience with community-based occupational therapy assessment and treatment for neurological, orthopedic and psychological injuries. She has completed advanced education in the areas of acquired brain injury, return to work, mindfulness and concussion management. Recently she has completed the courses, “Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST),” “Assessment and Intervention of Self-awareness in those with Brain injury, stroke and neurological diseases” and “Optimizing Functional Cognition and Executive Function (Joan Toglia).” Jenna also has several years’ experience as a Case Manager for Catastrophic Injury cases. She has also been involved with the University of Toronto as a student fieldwork supervisor and facilitator for learning labs for Occupational Therapy students. Her current practice includes hospital discharges, in-home assessments, attendant care assessments, worksite assessments, occupational therapy treatment and case management services.
