Liora Chovitch

Manager of Occupational Therapy

Liora is a Registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists and a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists as well as the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. She obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University and graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. 

Liora has experience with adolescents, adults, and older adults with orthopaedic and musculoskeletal impairments, amputations, chronic pain, mental health conditions, neurological disorders, and acquired brain injuries. Liora has extensive experience working with individuals who have sustained injuries and impairments following motor vehicle accidents. She is knowledgeable in conducting comprehensive In-Home Assessments, Assessment of Attendant Care Needs, Functional Abilities Evaluations, Ergonomic/Work-Site Assessments, and Cognitive Assessments. She also has knowledge and experience with the Progressive Goal Attainment Programs (PGAP). 

In addition to working as a clinical Occupational Therapist, Liora also has experience working as a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant as well as a Case Manager. Liora is a client-centred and compassionate bilingual practitioner, who is determined to build good therapeutic relationships with her clients and understands the importance of developing creative and individualized treatment plans.
