Tracy Shonk-Lacey is a distinguished Occupational Therapist registered in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and an active member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT). With a powerful combination of clinical expertise and strategic leadership abilities, Tracy has established herself as a transformative force in community-based healthcare.

After obtaining her degree from the University of Toronto, Tracy has dedicated over two decades to supporting clients within their home environments, developing specialized knowledge in creating therapeutic interventions that honor clients' authentic contexts and lived experiences. Her client-centered approach emphasizes dignity, autonomy, and meaningful engagement in daily activities.

Leadership Excellence and Team Development

Throughout her career, Tracy has excelled in leadership roles where she has mentored multidisciplinary teams of allied health professionals. Her collaborative leadership style fosters innovation, professional growth, and excellence in client care. Tracy's commitment to system improvement and accessibility is reflected in her strategic approach to healthcare delivery and program development.

In 2022, Tracy enhanced her leadership capabilities by completing the prestigious Executive Leadership Program for Non-Profit Organizations through the Rotman School of Management, further developing her skills in organizational management, strategic planning, and systems thinking.

Tracy's dedication extends beyond her professional practice into significant community service. Her exceptional contributions were formally recognized in 2017 when she received the K-W Oktoberfest Woman of the Year award for Community Service, honoring her lifelong commitment to volunteerism and community development.
